Michael Bare sang Embrace the Cross for Missions Conference. It was a great opening special music reminding us about our need to be willing to endure for the gospel's sake.
The theme of ABC's Missions Conference this year is "For the Sake of the Gospel", I Cor. 9:23. As a result, attendees are being challenged to
1. See God in His Holiness
2. Surrender Self
3. Step out of Comfort Zones
4. Strive Diligently
5. Serve Globally
All "For the Sake of the Gospel"
Relive the account of William Haas, missionary to French Equatorial Africa and founder of what is known today as Baptist Mid-Missions. Then ask yourself, "What would I do 'For the Sake of the Gospel'?"

Fall is in full swing on campus and students are already looking forward to Thanksgiving break.
"His timing is always perfect." Alumni, Captain Mike Allen returned to
campus with this message. In honor of Veteran's Day Chaplin Mike Allen,
and his commander, shared some stories from the front lines. Chaplin
Allen has had the privileged of providing spiritual leadership to his
squadron. Chaplin Allen's commander commented, "He is a soldier's
Chaplin... a true testament to what the Chaplin core is all about... and
a credit to ABC, the U.S. Army, and the United States of America." Your invited to hear more of how God has been glorified through the
life of Alumni, Mike Allen.
The Des Plains roof project is going very well. It is great to see God's blessing in tangible form.
This special ensemble shared their love of our God through this song. What a blessing to know that God IS God.
Work has begun on the Des Plaines roof! The volunteers are working hard and the roof is going up fast.
Please pray for the family of Alumnus, David Grove, who was murdered in the line of duty November 12, 2010. David served diligently as a Wildlife Conservation Officer in PA and was fatally wounded after pulling over an individual who was hunting illegally. Pray also that the Gospel would go forth during this time and others would place their trust in Christ.
It is a windy day this Wednesday, make sure you wear a coat!
Students are counting down the hours until break... classes aren't over yet though! There is one more day of classes left to encourage the students before Thanksgiving break starts.
All over campus today guys could be seen checking their oil and filling up on gas. Drive safely students!

Today was a day for students to be a part of the churches they've left to be at Bible College. What a sweet reunion.
